HONOLULU
Public access to Oahu's traffic camera network will be
restricted during the upcoming Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation
meetings.
Images from live cameras operated by the City Department of
Transportation will be restricted starting 6:30 p.m. Nov. 7 through Nov.
14.
Information about traffic conditions during peak commuting periods will be made available to the public through the news media.
The city says restricting access to the cameras is a safety
precaution during APEC, which will bring some 20,000 attendees and world
leaders to Oahu.
