HONOLULU -- Some roads in Waikiki are expected to be closed Wednesday evening as the Board of Water Supply crews continue work to repair broken valves in front of 2211 Kuhio Ave. and 2415 Ala Wai Blvd.
The roads closed are as follows:
The right eastbound lane of Kuhio Ave. near Royal Hawaiian Ave.
The left and center lanes of Ala Wai Blvd. near Kaiulani Ave.
The road closures will remain in effect until repairs are completed. Drivers are advised to use caution while driving through the work area and to allow for extra travel time.No customers were affected by the broken valves.
